We are now enrolling students for Summer and Fall dual credit courses. If you would like to sign up for dual credit classes either during the Summer or the Fall you must contact Mr. Nelson. Dual Credit Permission forms are due no later than April 30th!

Thursday April 26th will be Dual Credit Information Night. The event will begin at 5 p.m. in the library. Please bring your parents and your questions to be answered. You should bring your dual credit permission form with you to the event if you haven’t already turned it in. All dual credit permission forms are due by Monday April 30th

Juniors, do you want a way to fill up your resume and also support your school to the fullest?! senior council officer applications for next year are available in the office. Please return by Monday morning. Elections will be held the following week!

Finishing the year in the properly academically and behaviorally. Starting on Monday, April 16, 2018, we will be strictly enforcing dress code. That means uniform shirts will be worn, Monday through Thursday, and the option for spirit shirts will be on Friday’s only. There will be NO JEANS, JEGGINGS, LEGGINGS, OR TIGHTS! Non-Harmony jackets, sweatshirts or hoodies will be prohibited in the halls, classrooms, cafeteria, and gym.
We will also begin to strictly enforce our cell phone and ear bud/phone policy. This means any cell phone confiscated will be given directly to the front office and parents will need to pay $10.00, by credit card or cashier check, to the front office to receive the phone. We will also not allow head phone, ear phone, ear buds inside the halls, classroom, cafeteria, or gym at any time during school hours.
We believe that ending the year just slightly stricter will help us, and the students, maintain their focus on what matters…their education. We want to thank all the students for their confidence and commitment to Harmony School of Business.

 

The Dual Credit Information Night has been rescheduled because of STAAR testing. We will announce the new date for this event on Monday April 16th. Thank you for your understanding.

Order your 2017-2018 yearbook today! Our FULL COLOR yearbook is only $25.00, if you purchase during the pre-order period (up until May 10th). After our pre-order period, only a limited number of yearbooks will be available for purchase. They will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Complete the form given at Advisory and return to the front office with your payment. We only accept Check, Debit/Credit Cards or Money Orders Payable to HSB – Dallas. Keep the receipt for your records.

All 11th graders will be taking the SAT test on our campus on Tuesday April 10th. Please help us by making sure you are rested, well fed, and prepared to take this test. Misbehavior will not be tolerated. If students are disruptive they will be sent home and their tests will be invalidated.

If you have submitted an application for letterman jacket, Thursday April 5 during advisory sizing and orders will be taken in the library. Please bring your money and forms.

We expect all of our students to have an equal opportunity to be successful on the STAAR test as well as End of Course Exams. In order to accomplish this goal, we ask each student to refrain from causing distractions during testing.
Misconduct could result in a student’s test being voided by the state and other disciplinary consequences. Please refer to pg. 41 in our handbook under “Examination Procedures” for Details. We are asking all parents to speak to your child about these expectations so that everyone has a successful testing season.

During STAAR testing week all after school clubs and tutorials are canceled.

Attention all current and future dual credit students! Harmony School of Business will be holding a dual credit information night on Thursday April 12 at 5:00 p.m. At this meeting we will cover all of the necessary steps to getting successfully enrolled in dual credit classes, as well as advise on how to be successful in these classes. If you are going to be taking dual credit classes please attend and get all of your questions answered.

Harmony School of Business is seeking dedicated Bilingual and ESL teachers. Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field and Texas teacher certification are required.

For students STAAR testing during the week of April 10, you must either bring your own lunch to eat during testing or fill out a lunch order form that is due by March 29. Lunch order forms are available from your advisory teacher or the front office.
